A bit of history about the emergence of the system «Pilates».

The author of this fitness direction is Joseph Hubert Pilates. He was born in the year 1883 in a small town located near Düsseldorf in Germany. The boy was weak, suffered from rheumatic fever, asthma and other ailments.

However, thanks to his own perseverance and his love of sports, he managed to overcome all his illnesses, became a professional athlete and taught physical education.
What is Pilates ?
This is a low-yield power complex. It is aimed at strengthening the muscular corset and improving the spinal column.

The positive effects of Pilates:

  • increased hypoxia, strength and mobility of the joints.
  • this exercise are the prevention of arthrosis, arteritis and hypotension.
  • correction of posture, which will make your movements graceful and elegant;
  • a sense of inner peace due to relaxation elements;
  • effective work of internal organs;
  • improvement of general well-being, as exercises, improving oxygen metabolism, accelerate the release of endorphins;
  • strengthening the immune system, which will lead to a strong resistance to many diseases;
  • improving the condition of the skin and hair;
  • building a slim figure;
  • getting rid of back pain.

Many women begin to feel the beneficial effects of Pilates classes after three to four weeks of regular exercise. Of course, a lot is individual and will depend on how often you practice.

Pilates which I am inviting you to try with me does not need many equipment. Only a few light weight dumbels, yoga mat and some gimmick ball or Fitness balls.
You can choose your Pilates styles below:
1. Power Pilates
- this is a workout with some light equipment like dumbels . Power pilates can only be started by sufficiently trained people who have been practicing for more than one month.

2. Stretching.
- This type of activity does not bring much benefit in the field of weight loss, but it is mandatory for people who want to consolidate the result and have a flexible slim body.

3. Pilates Ball.
- Classes are conducted using a large gymnastic ball. Allows you to develop not only flexibility, but also learn to keep balance.

4. Classic.
- This sub-catagory is suitable for everyone and allow people of any ages and any level of training experience. Classes need just yoga mat.
Training can be done at indoor or outdoor places.
